Engineering Construction Solutions Pty. Ltd. (ECS) has been a registered company since 15 February 2001and has many years of experience in the construction and maintenance industry (mechanical discipline).

Our capabilities include all disciplines associated with mechanical engineering construction and maintenance.

Services offered are welded and screwed pipe work, pipe bending and forming, machine installation with capabilities for high tolerances and alignments.  Maintenance services, welding, fabrication and machine modification for on site work.  Plant set out and construction.

  • A Contract to install a road base manufacturing plant at State Asphalts Pty Ltd at Prestons NSW.  March 2001.

 

  • Installation of supporting steelwork and architectural panels to the domestic car park at Sydney airport.  December 2001/ February 2002.

 

  • Installation of tanks, bucket elevators and conveyors at Wrigley’s Asquith.  Also included some structural steel, platforms and process equipment.  December 2001/March 2002.

 

  • Replacement of an 11 kW turbine at HC Extractions (AGL), Kurnell.  Also plant service, compressors and gearboxes service and alignment of turbine and other high speed rotating equipment and pumps.  Installation of cooling towers.  Performed on a yearly basis, major shutdown period every 4 years.  Since September 2001, crew of 12.  Ongoing business relationship.

 

  • ANSTO RRRP – Supply of engineering staff to Jheddi for the replacement research reactor Lucas Heights. Duties included high precision installation of reactor hardware; pipe welding (stainless, aluminium, zirconium and carbon pipe), installation and testing, install main cooling water pumps, small process pumps, heat exchangers and other machine installation, installation of tanks.  Set out of service pool and neutron guide bushes, reactor pool, hot cells.  Set up and installation of crane and crane rails.  Boring out of reactor pool for neutron bushes, support for civil works embedded components, heavy plate shielding work.  As builts of piping.  Meet all A.N.S.T.O and Arpanza test requirements.  December 2003/ February 2006.

 

  • Supply staff for INVAP Australia.  Head contractor for the replacement research reactor Lucas Heights.  Set up of Neutron bushes, installation of reactor components fit out hot cells, including testing and commissioning, on site manufacture of support items and pipe work. Welding of Zirconium and aluminium.  July 2004 to July 2006.

 

  • Maintenance of security areas in the opal reactor for ANSTO and INVAP. Installation of extra structural steel and shielding to international standards. Includes pipe work, structural steel and fitting.  Ongoing basis to present.  Crew of 2 to 5 varies with demand.  Ongoing business relationship.

 

  • Duplication of filter manufacturing facility Siemens Water, Windsor.  Includes machine installation and pipe work, predominately stainless steel fusion welding.  May 2007 to July 2007.

 

  • Installation of gluten dryer Manildra Group (Shoalhaven starches) Bomaderry.  Included machine installation, modification and alignment, pipe work both screwed and welded. Installation of structural steel, platforms and walkways, ductwork, bag houses, silos.  Commissioning support crew.  April 2007 to September 2007.

 

  • Support crew for service to rotating compressors Bulwa Island BP Brisbane, 5 weeks, and crew of 8 April 2008 for Ips Australia.  Ongoing business relationship.

 

  • Build up of undersea drilling rig for Benthic Geotech.  April 2008 to October 2008, and short periods throughout 2009 to 2010/2011.

 

  • Sydney Desalination Plant – John Holland and Veolia Water. Installation of Leopold filters and other mechanical services for Sydney desalination plant Blue water joint venture.  Including installation of GRP pipe work, small and large valves, corrections to crane rails and structural steel, abs and PVC pipe work to 6 inch, high torque bolting, marking out and setting up of plant and equipment including pumps, pump alignment and rectification.  Reporting on check sheets and managing our own safety aspects.  Ran both day and night shifts.  August 2008 to December 2010.

 

  • Support crew for Ips Australia at Kangaroo valley pumping station. Refurbishment of Boving and Voith ball valves (40 tons mass). Refurbishment of pressure relief valve and relining of pipe duct with stainless steel plating. July 2010 to April 2011. Other jobs with this client at this time in Gladstone, Newcastle, Wollongong and Fiji servicing rotating equipment.

 

  • Support crew for rotating equipment service for Howden Thomassen Australia. July /August 2011/2012. Caltex Lytton, Bp Bulwa Island, Bp Kwinana, Enerflex. Ongoing business relationship. Pre installation checks on Howden Thomassen compressors for Csg service at Enerflex Brisbane for Howden Thomassen Australia July 2012.

 

  • Repair to oil storage tank at Silver Springs an Agl gas storage facility. May 2012.

 

  • Installation of Chicken processing facility upgrades at Red Lea Blacktown. August – November 2012.

 

  • Supply of welders to Mc Connell Dowell (Mc(Qclng) Jv receipt station pipeline works Miles Queensland. November 2012 to December 2013.

 

  • Installation of sanitary pipe work system and related items for FKN Solutions at Red lea Chickens processing facility Blacktown. May 2014.

 

  • Supply night shift supervisor for Ips Australia at Hobart Nyrstar blower rebuild, crew of 1. Also Mt Isa compressor service supervisor, fitters and riggers June 2014.

 

  • Red Lea Chickens- Ongoing maintenance and pipework installation, steam generator repairs. July and November 2014/15.

 

  • Wormald/ Tyco install electrical cable racking for upgrade to UPS system Ansto. January and February 2015.

 

  • Installation of industrial washing machine and related pipework for Ansto Opal. February 2015.

 

  • Air Liquide shutdown, replace pipe work and valves, ongoing integrity upgrades, welding. Replace ducting to Co2 recovery plant. September 2015. Also supply Engineer and Supervisor.

 

  • Chia Tung Australia- Install load out end conveyors and material handling equipment for livestock feed construction at Manildra starches Bomaderry. Also some structural steel installation and pipe welding. August to November 2015.

 

  • Manildra Starches general plant installation. December 2015 to February 2016.

 

  • Shutdown support and projects for Visy paper Tumut and Manildra starches. July 2016

 

  • Sda pipework and machinery installation at Manildra Starches. September to February  2017

 

  • Regyp trommel and plant maintenance August to September 2017.

 

  • Lion Nathan Morwell supply of shutdown labour November 2017.

 

  • Air liquide Banksmeadow reinstatement of hydrogen line, install vaporizers, install monorail and pumps. December 2017.

  • Ryde joinery. Upgrade of airline pipework and integrity maintenance February 2018.

 

  • Ansto. Install stainless steel tubing to nitrogen system march 2018.
